據遊戲媒體PC Gamer報導，CD Projekt Red近日舉行了2024年財報會議，財務長Piotr Nielubowicz提到他們並不打算在2026年發售《巫師4》：「我們還不會宣布遊戲的確切上市日期，為了讓投資者有更多的了解，我們現在可以分享的資訊是，該遊戲不會在激勵計劃第一個目標時間範圍（即2026年12月31日結束前）推出。」這意味著這部作品至少要到2027年才會與玩家見面。
